A prayer request app for your small group
Prayer in Lampstead Groups stays inside the group. It is not a public feed, and there is no directory of requests from other churches.
Share a request
A member posts a prayer request. The group sees the name and the words. A request can be marked so only the leaders of that group can see it. Other members tap “I’ll pray,” and the request shows how many people marked that.
The person who asked, or a leader, can post an update or mark the request answered, with an optional note the group can see. Answered prayers stay listed in the group, with when they were marked answered. People who tapped “I’ll pray” are told about an update if they already turned on notifications or the meeting-reminder email. That notice is not a marketing list.
What stays private
Private notes are only visible to the person who wrote them. They are not part of the prayer list, and leaders cannot read them. With Lampstead Plus, a leader can send a short note to someone Insights has flagged for missing meetings. That note goes only to that member, through a channel they already turned on, and is not stored with the group.
If something should come down
Anyone can report a prayer request or a message and block a member. A reported request is hidden for the person who reported it right away, and the group’s leaders can see that it was reported. The aim is to review reports within 24 hours. An admin can dismiss the report or remove the content.
Lampstead Groups does not show ads, and it does not sell your information. What is stored, and who can see it, is in the privacy policy. The same group also carries the weekly study, which is described on small group Bible study.
